Hi, I am an artist and am looking to build a portfolio website to display some of my work online. I was reading about web hosting for artists and from my understanding, bandwidth is a big issue because the art images (the .jpg files) take up a lot of file size. What is a good web hosting company for artists where I can upload as much of my work as i want without having to worry?
Yes, bandwidth is important for an artist website. Basically the most important thing in any website is having hosting that is responsive. That means that you want your website to load instantly and be responsive to the pages the viewer clicks on. There is nothing more annoying than waiting for a webpage to load. From what i’ve found, Inmotion is the highest performance web host. I would highly recommend them.

Inmotion is one of the best web hosts ever. They are really fast and their hosting is very reliable. Their hosting is all-purpose so you can literally use it for whatever you want, including using it for your artist website.
I really like HUB hosting. Their website is http://www.webhostinghub.com. I used to host my artist website with them. I never had any problems with them, but after a year, i took my website down because i couldnt get anyone to buy any of my artwork
