I know that InMotion is a pretty popular web hosting company. They look like they offer decent hosting features, but was wondering about their service and customer support? Does their hosting ever go down? Is InMotion any good?

InMotion is a very reputable web hosting company. They are well known and well trusted. They offer really strong performance and their hosting very rarely goes down, much less than the other web hosts.
Yes, InMotion is always my number one favorite for web hosting. They are a business web host, which means they are very reliable. They are meant for hosting professional websites and offer tons of bandwidth and features.
I really love InMotion. By far the best web host out there!
I recently joined as a customer and I have already had some outages. It is nice that their technical support is easy to reach, though it is not so easy to reach customer care or billing department. It can take a few days to get a response from those departments. I submitted a ticket on 1/5 and I am still waiting to hear back.
InMotion is a good company. Just like any web host, they do have downtimes. From all the different web hosts I’ve tried, InMotion is the fastest and the most reliable in terms of downtimes. They do upgrade their server hardware sometimes at night so ocassionaly your website may go down for a few minutes. But after the upgrade, everything runs even faster!
