I am trying to find the best web host that allows multiple add-on domains so that i can host several websites on one hosting account. I hear a lot of good things about inmotion, but their basic plan only allows 2 websites to be hosted and i do not want to upgrade to any of their other plans. I was thinking maybe bluehost? It looks like they offer unlimited domains for multiple websites. Are they any good?
In my experience, its usually best to only host a few websites on one account, unless of course, you lease a dedicated server. Most web hosts will say they allow unlimited websites to be hosted on one account, which is true. However your websites are using up to much bandwidth, they will shut them down. My advice to you is to host 5-10 websites top on one web hosting account. And this also depends on how much traffic these sites are getting. But to answer your question, for multiple website hosting, i would choose bluehost.

I host nearly 20 websites with HUB and have never had a problem. I am very impressed with hub because before i was with hostmonster and they were always throttling my account. I was even getting that much traffic either. But ever since I switched to HUB, my sites have been running fine. I highly recommend them. You can find them at http://www.webhostinghub.com. They only have one plan and it hosts unlimited domains and bandwidth.
I totally agree. HUB is the best web host for hosting multiple websites hands down. Their hosting is very good, although they do lack some of the features that bluehost and hostmonster provide.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Bluehost. Their hosting is good and their prices are decent. Their customer support is also really good. I’ve never really tested how many sites i can host with them, but there was a time when i had 40 websites hosted on one account.
